The exciting National Garden Project was introduced at the opening of Haraççı Park.

The exciting National Garden Project was introduced at the opening of Haraççı Park.

Haraççı Park, completed by the Arnavutköy Municipality, was officially opened with a ceremony. On the same day, a project presentation for the 212,000-square-meter Haraççı National Park was also shared with the public. Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu, AK Party Arnavutköy District Chairman Salim Gökhan Gürek, citizens, and numerous children attended the opening.

Covering a total area of 2,400 square meters, Haraççı Park offers a versatile social environment for the area, including 1,000 square meters of green space, 320 square meters of children's playground, 300 square meters of artificial turf, 240 square meters of modular pitch, 60 square meters of fitness area, and walking paths. Comprised of 45 percent green space, the park offers a safe and enjoyable environment for children, young people, and families.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu said, "You are the generation that will keep this country alive. May this park be a blessing to you. This is just one of the dozens of parks we have opened in Arnavutköy. Because we know that children have the right to spend time in parks and green spaces."

After his speech, Mayor Candaroğlu went out onto the pitch with the children and added color to the event by playing football and basketball with them. The heartfelt moments were met with great interest from the children and their families.

Haraççı National Garden, meanwhile, will reportedly boast a vast 212,000-square-meter area and extensive amenities. The project will also include numerous social and cultural elements, including a social facility, cultural center, museum, library, children's play areas, walking paths, sports fields, event and recreation areas, a parking lot, and a mosque. Once completed, this expansive area, stretching from Haraççı Bridge to Çilingir Bridge, will become a popular attraction for citizens of all ages, from 7 to 70.

Regarding the public garden, Mayor Candaroğlu said, "In the new era, we want to make Arnavutköy a district known for its public gardens. Haraççı Public Garden is not just a green space; it is a visionary project where social life, education, and culture are intertwined." He also referenced President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's "Turkey Century" vision.

Candaroğlu concluded his remarks by saying, "Haraççı Park is now entrusted to your care. We will, God willing, complete our National Garden soon and hand it over to you. May God bless you all, children, and may your fortune be blessed."
