The Şakir Pasha Family, which had been through a lot of trouble, was canceled

The series "Şakir Paşa Ailesi" (The Family of Şakir Paşa), broadcast on NOW TV, has been plagued by various problems since its launch.
Following the fires that broke out on the series set, the death of an employee on set, RTÜK fines and the lawsuits filed by Şakir Pasha's grandchildren, the second season of "Şakir Pasha Family" has been canceled, according to a post by journalist Birsen Altuntaş on her social media account.
Altuntaş stated that the reason for the cancellation decision was increasing costs.
Altuntaş's post is as follows:
"According to the breaking news just announced, the Şakir Paşa Ailesi series has been canceled due to rising costs."
"The production company of the series, Medyapım NOW, informed the actors who were waiting for the project that they were now free. The series has gone down in literature as the most eventful production of recent years."
"The production manager of the series, which was penalized by RTÜK twice, had fires break out on its set twice, and was first taken off the air by Şakir Paşa's grandchildren before being allowed to air, Serkan Sükyan, nicknamed Taki, also died of a heart attack during preparations for filming in Büyükada."
"The producer of the series, Fatih Aksoy, said, 'It is impossible for us to make a period drama with these costs.'"
