Vehicle overturned on icy road in Düzce, 2 injured

The accident occurred at around 23:30 on the D-100 Highway in the Hacıkadirler village. The car with the license plate 06 BTC 004, driven by Adem Pekdemir, heading towards Istanbul, skidded off the side road and overturned due to hidden ice. Driver Adem Pekdemir and Şevval Ünaldı were trapped in the vehicle. The injured were removed from the trapped area after the fire department teams worked. After the intervention of the health teams, the injured were taken to Atatürk State Hospital and treated. An investigation has been launched into the accident.
