Operation into FETÖ's money trafficking: Simultaneous detentions in two provinces

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that detention orders were issued for 16 suspects as part of the investigation into the current financial structure of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) .

In a statement released by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office , it was stated that 16 individuals considered to be involved in FETÖ's current financial structure were detained in two provinces, centered in Ankara , as part of an ongoing investigation by the Terrorist Crimes Investigation Bureau .

The arrests of the suspects are being carried out by teams from the Ankara Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch . The process of referring the suspects to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is also ongoing as part of the operation.

It was stated that the investigation found that the suspects contributed to the maintenance of the organization's financial resources, were involved in current activities and carried out various transactions within this scope.
