A NEW PRODUCTION FACILITY IN HOUSTONApple is set to open a new advanced manufacturing facility in Houston. The facility will be used to manufacture Apple Intelligence servers and is expected to be operational in 2026. The 250,000-square-foot facility will employ thousands of people. The servers will form the basis of Apple’s Private Cloud Compute technology and strengthen its AI security infrastructure.
ADVANCED MANUFACTURING FUND DOUBLESAccording to the news on CNBC-e, Apple has decided to increase its Advanced Manufacturing Fund, which it launched in 2017, from $5 billion to $10 billion.
