Hollow Knight: Silksong has arrived after a long wait and has reached the top

The studio's co-founder explained the reason for Hollow Knight: Silksong's long hiatus: the game needed such a long development period to meet the team's and fanbase's expectations.

The game attracted so much attention that Steam experienced outages immediately after its release. Many people reported on forums and social media accounts that they were having trouble accessing the game's purchase page.

Silksong focuses on telling a new story within the Hollow Knight universe. It features the Hornet character, familiar to fans of the original game. The developers have added expanded abilities, new areas to explore, and even more dynamic boss battles. Developer Team Cherry announced that further improvements will be made to Silksong after release to keep it relevant.
