The Ministry of Interior took action following the allegations made by Ayşe Tokyaz's sister

The Ministry of Internal Affairs assigned one civil inspector and one police inspector to investigate whether there was any police negligence in the murder of Ayşe Tokyaz.
"Upon the instructions of Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, one civil inspector and one police inspector were assigned to investigate whether there was any negligence on the part of the police in the murder of Ayşe Tokyaz," the ministry said in a statement.
Tokyaz's twin, Esra Tokyaz, said that the police officers she went to complain about were not interested in her.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Seven people who were detained in connection with the murder of 22-year-old university student Ayşe Tokyaz, whose lifeless body was placed in a suitcase and dumped on the roadside in Eyüpsultan after being killed in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, were referred to the courthouse.
Cemil Koç, who killed the 22-year-old young girl, was arrested by the Criminal Court of Peace on Duty for "premeditated murder" and the other six suspects were arrested for "aiding in premeditated murder" and sent to prison.
