Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç gave a plaque of appreciation to Tadic and Dzeko.

According to the statement made on the club's website, the farewell ceremony was attended by chairman Ali Koç, board member Acun Ilıcalı, sports director Mario Branco, technical director Jose Mourinho and football players.

Following the thank you speeches of President Ali Koç and Acun Ilıcalı, the yellow-navy football players bid farewell to the two captains with applause.

Ali Koç stated in his speech that both experienced players will be role models for new players and said, "You will always be role models for players of all ages. When I look at you, I see 19-20 year old players who have just started their careers, hungry, working extra hard. I am saying goodbye to you, but you always have a family in Istanbul. I wish you good luck and success on whatever journey you take from now on. I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and the Fenerbahçe community for everything you have done for us."

Acun Ilıcalı also said, "When I look at you, I see two strong characters, pure hearts and great athletes. I am proud and happy to have spent time and worked with you. I thank you."

Mourinho, who said that both players were very good professionals, said: "This year is the 25th year of my career. If you multiply 25 years by 25-30 players per season, we reach a big number. I have met professionals like you, but I have never met professionals better than you. I think this is the best compliment I can give you. Thank you."

Dzeko said: "I have always given everything to you and the club. I wish you all the best in the future. The club and especially the fans deserve happiness. Thank you for everything." Tadic said: "It was a good two years for me. I leave here with a clean heart and that is the most important thing. I am very happy and proud to have met you and played with you. Maybe we can see each other again in the future."
