Blackburn Rovers' new manager Valerien Ismael!

Valerien Ismael has been appointed as the head coach of the English Championship team Blackburn Rovers. The club announced that an agreement has been reached with the French coach until June 2028.

The 49-year-old coach, who worked at Hannover, Wolfsburg, Nürnberg, LASK Linz, Barnsley, West Bromwich Albion and Watford in his career, coached Beşiktaş for 7 months in 2022.

Valerien Ismael will become the first French manager to serve at Blackburn Rovers. Blackburn Rovers are in 6th place in the league with 51 points from 15 wins, 6 draws and 13 losses.
