Murat Sancak , in a statement he made on the club's social media account, stated that they held a consultation meeting with fan leaders on February 12, and said, "It was emphasized in the meeting that only Adana Demirspor was important and a consensus was reached on the steps to be taken. The newly established authorized advisory board on behalf of the Adana Demirspor Club Association will manage this process. The authority of the money collected will be in the advisory board and will be used in consultation with me to pay the club's urgent debts and to open the board."

Stating that he would support this process, Sancak noted:

"If the club's debts are paid (estimated to be 30-35 million Euros), Adana Demirspor Club will be transferred to the status of an association again. It has been decided that the amount to be collected for the association with the unity of Adana and the management will be used for Adana Demirspor's debts and to make it stronger in the future to the Super League. If the relevant debt amount is collected, I undertake that I will transfer the company shares to the association or transfer shares to the association according to the share ratio as much as the amount collected and that I will not have any demands other than the debt. May all the material and spiritual sacrifices I have made be sacrificed for Adana Demirspor. I hope that all the dynamics of Adana will do their part and take ownership of this club that belongs to the city of Adana. May Allah be our helper and companion."
