Domenico Tedesco by a nose!

The uncertainty that arose after Fenerbahçe parted ways with Jose Mourinho on August 29th ended yesterday and Domenico Tedesco became the new coach of the yellow-dark blue team.
While President Ali Koç personally announced that Mourinho had been fired for playing defensively, Fenerbahçe's management had narrowed the search for a new manager to three. The Canaries were considering appointing İsmail Kartal if he was a local player, while Edin Terzic or Domenico Tedesco were also considered if he was a foreigner.
A 2-year contract will be signed
Would the new manager be local or foreign? This question has long occupied the club's agenda. So much so that Vice President Hamdi Akın, appearing on live television the other day, stated that there were hesitations on the matter. President Ali Koç even held a vote with congress members on whether the manager would be local or foreign. Following the board's recent decision to opt for a foreigner, 39-year-old Domenico Tedesco was officially announced as Fenerbahçe's new manager. Tedesco will sign a two-year contract with the Canaries.
"We examined the data, not populism"
It was also stated that Gökhan Gönül, who was previously the Junior National Team Coach, will serve as an assistant coach on Tedesco's team.
In his speech at the Fenerbahçe Football Academy project launch, President Ali Koç said, "We wanted to choose the coach who best fits the DNA of our strong team and our Fenerbahçe tradition of attacking, enthusiastic football. It wasn't easy. At this point in the season, the options were limited. We analyzed the data. With Tedesco's decision, based on data, not populism, we have full confidence in our championship."
We parted ways with Mourinho for the championship
Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç said of the academy, “We are laying the foundations for the future of our Fenerbahçe. This project isn't just for the management; it's for future generations, even our grandchildren. This will be the kitchen of our children's dreams and the championships our A Team will win.” Regarding Mourinho's departure, Koç said, “The football we played in five official matches had led us to question our belief that our coach could lead us to the championship. Parting ways could be a risky decision. However, considering the success and championship goals we're aiming for this season, I personally believe we've made the right decision. This decision is a step in the best interests of our Fenerbahçe and towards becoming a champion.”
We're working not for the election , but for our Fenerbahçe. You might find we're not here in 15 days, but at least we've planted the seeds. Making our team a champion is, of course, our greatest responsibility and priority. Playing in the Europa League final at Tüpraş Stadium is also a major goal of ours.
