Green light from Aykut Kocaman to Fenerbahçe!

Manager Aykut Kocaman stated that he was not keen on the offer made to him by Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Sadettin Saran to take on the role of head of the football department, but that he would not hesitate to take on the position if the club offered him the position of manager.

In a statement to AA, Kocaman said, "The fact that I've paused my coaching career due to the problematic atmosphere in Turkish football does not constitute a decision to quit. As a Fenerbahçe member, I have no choice but to avoid any role related to my profession that I believe would benefit me. I thank Sadettin Bey for his invaluable offer, but I must state that I don't think it's right to build a new career plan based on a decision I haven't yet made."

Following this announcement, the likelihood of Kocaman being appointed Fenerbahçe manager has increased significantly. Club legend Volkan Demirel had also said, "If Aykut Kocaman becomes manager, I'm ready to assist him."
