İsmet Taşdemir: 'We won, but it was not enough!'

Speaking at the press conference held after the match, Taşdemir said that they competed against Kırklarelispor with their young players.

Taşdemir, who stated that their other opponents in the group collected more points than them and therefore said goodbye to the organization, said, "We won but it was not enough. We want to focus completely on the league and finish our remaining 12 matches in the most correct and healthy way. We closed the cup with a victory. Our only focus is the league, we will head there from now on."

Expressing his satisfaction with the performance of the young players, Taşdemir expressed his belief that these athletes will serve Turkish football in the future.

Stating that he did not find the Turkish Cup format appropriate, Taşdemir noted the following:

"The tightness of the match schedule is very important. Think about it this way, we couldn't make it to the half-time. I will always emphasize the same thing, but there is a very tight 1st League schedule. Since we arrived, we have been playing games during the week and on the weekends. We came across a very tight schedule. Also, it is not clear who is playing with whom. It is not a normal group. This year was not a status that I personally found right. With this status, the players and the team were not given enough time and opportunities. I don't know how and why those who did it did it. We have nothing else to do.
