Shelbourne and Ludogorets qualify for the Champions League

The second legs of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, the number one club tournament in European football, ended with two matches.

Irish team Shelbourne advanced to the next round with a 1-1 draw away to Northern Ireland representative Linfield in the second leg of the first leg, which they won 1-0.

Bulgaria's Ludogorets won the first match 1-0 and advanced to the next round after drawing 2-2 with Belarusian team Dinamo Minsk after extra time.

Previously, Kairat (Kazakhstan), Lincoln Red Imps (Gibraltar), Hamrun Spartans (Malta), KuPS Kuopio (Finland), Malmö (Sweden), RFS (Latvia), Shkendija (North Macedonia), Drita (Kosovo), FCSB (Romania), Breidablik (Iceland), Zrinjski (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Noah (Armenia) had advanced to the second qualifying round.

The second qualifying round matches in the league will be played on July 22-23 and 29-30.
