The new goal of the 14-year-old wushu athletes from Ordu is to enter the national team

Fourteen-year-old Azra Aydemir, an athlete at Ordu Sanda Sports Club, told an Anadolu Agency (AA) reporter that she began practicing wushu approximately five years ago on the advice of her mother. Aydemir explained that she competed in the Star category and has already placed in numerous competitions. She recently defeated her opponents to win the gold medal at the 8th Open Balkan Wushu Kung Fu Championship held in Edirne, adding that this achievement makes her very happy.

I'm still very young. My goal is to become a national athlete. I want to represent my country in the European and world championships wearing the crescent-star jersey."
Azra Yıldız Yurtdadur, 14, stated that she loves Wushu very much, saying, "I recently started this sport and have achieved success. I strive to improve myself by working hard. I recently made my teachers and family proud by winning a gold medal at the 8th Open Balkan Wushu Kung Fu Championship."
Yurtdadur, emphasizing that she, like every athlete, wants to be selected for the national team, said, "I take Berna Tut from Ordu as an example. I hope I can become a national player like her and represent my country in the best possible way."
