While working in Ankara, he received a traffic ticket in Şanlıurfa!

Recently, Bekir Dinç, who works as a laboratory technician at a hospital in Ankara , was sent a notification stating that he was fined 2,167 TL for making an illegal overtaking with his car with the license plate 34 LM 2186 in Şanlıurfa. Stating that he had never been to Şanlıurfa before, Dinç objected to the fine and submitted a petition to the court.
"I WAS IN ANKARA AT THAT DATE"
Dinç applied to the Ankara Criminal Court of Peace to cancel the penalty dated February 12, 2025, which was imposed in front of the Suruç Regional Traffic Station on the D-400 Highway while he was on duty at the hospital in Ankara. Bekir Dinç said that he had never been to Şanlıurfa in his life and that he was on duty at the hospital on February 12, the date of the penalty.

"I APPLIED TO THE COURT"
Bekir Dinç said, "I have no connection with Urfa. I have never been there. This is an unfair situation. When such unjust fines are given, people will not care and will continue to commit crimes thinking 'I will get a fine in traffic anyway' or they will think 'how can it be fined without committing it'. This is not right. I think it is not right for both our state and our people. I have applied to the Criminal Court of Peace."
CRIMINAL COMPLAINT WILL BE FILED AGAINST THE OFFICER
Dinç, who said that he will also file a criminal complaint against the officer who issued the fine , said, "I was shocked when I saw the fine report. Because I have no connection or involvement with that place. I have never been to Urfa before. I neither went with my vehicle nor by myself. 2,167 TL is not a small amount of money for me. I think the fine will be cancelled."
