3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist

3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist

London Morning's associate producer, Ryan Soulliere, listens to a lot of music for his role, picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. Here are his top three local and Canadian picks from last week.

Fontine - Good Buddy

Fontine's latest single, Good Buddy, is an upbeat jam reminiscent of 90s alternative rock, complete with semi-distorted guitars and an infectious chorus. Good Buddy is a versatile track that will fit on a wide variety of playlists for motivating or unwinding with friends.

Dau Brazil and Big Lou - My Way

London-based rapper Big Lou and Dau Brazil team up for a melodic new single. Set to Latin rhythms, My Way is very pleasant on the ears with a chorus you'll be singing along with after the first bar. After all, who doesn't want to do things their way? My Way is an ideal song for a party mix or to enjoy by yourself. Big Lou and Dau Brazil are both performing at the Forest City Fusion Festival this weekend at Covent Market Square, so there is a chance they'll perform this summer jam.

Naila Keleta Mae - Move

Naila Keleta Mae's latest album, Grateful, is full of great songs. It was a tough choice, and London Morning chose to play Move from the new album. Move is an upbeat song with a reggae rhythm that encourages movement. If you're looking for a new summer jam, Move will certainly fill the bill. Try this one at gatherings or even when you want some motivation.
