The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son will undoubtedly be spoilt rotten on his special day, despite his father being away in Las Vegas to launch a new initiative with the Diana Award charity.
Prince Harry will be on stage, helping launch a new 'Pledge to Invest' initiative, celebrating future leaders and helping inspire forward-thinking businesses to support their missions.
Despite his few years, Archie has experienced various key moments in his life, as he moved houses between the US and the UK three times, and he also accompanied his parents on a royal tour when he was just a few months old.
Today, the Express takes a look at nine of Prince Archie most adorable photos as the young royal celebrates his special day.
Prince Archie was born at 5.26am on May 6, 2019 at the Portland Hospital in London. His birth gathered worldwide media interest however, it wasn't it wasn't followed by a typical photocall at the hospital like it is customary with other royal births. It was announced through a framed notice on an easel outside Buckingham Palace. He was only two days old when he met his great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth.
(Image: Getty)Archie, whose full name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, has dual citizenship due to his parents' American and British heritage. He was christened two months later, on July 6, by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the private chapel at Windsor Castle. Even though Harry and Meghan never confirmed who Archie's godparents were, it has been reported that they include the duke's former nanny, Tiggy Pettifer (formerly Legge-Bourke) and his pals Mark Dyer, Charlie van Straubenzee and the Duke of Westminster.
(Image: Getty)Four days after his christening, on July 10, the young prince made his first public appearance when he was snapped being carried by his mum, Meghan, in Surrey. The Sussexes attended an engagement to support Prince William and Prince Harry at the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day. Archie and Meghan were joined by the Princess of Wales and Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
(Image: Getty)In September of that year, Prince Archie was only a few months old when he joined Harry and Meghan on a major royal visit to South Africa. During the Sussex tour, the young royal was snapped being introduced to renowned anti-apartheid campaigner Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Archie melted hearts as he was seen being sweetly held by his mum during their tour overseas. It came just a few months before the Sussexes announced they would be stepping down as senior working royals.
