Jennifer Garner Shares a Personal Father’s Day Tribute to Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner shared a brief but meaningful message to Ben Affleck on Father’s Day, posting a never-before-seen photo of the actor on a couch with one of their children dozing on his chest. The picture appeared on her Instagram Story on June 15 with the caption, “Happy Father’s Day to 3 people’s favorite landing spot.”

Although Garner rarely shares glimpses of family life, her tribute underscored how she and Affleck continue to co-parent their three kids: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13. Their parenting dynamic has stayed intact following their 2015 separation and 2018 divorce, and both have routinely praised each other in the years since.

Affleck echoed that sentiment just two months ago in his GQ April cover story, calling Garner “a really good co-parent and partner … who’s wonderful and great and we work together well.”

The actor noted that joint communication helped their children navigate life in the public eye, adding that what mattered most was that “my kids know” the reality of their family life.

Garner has been in a steady relationship with CaliBurger CEO John Miller since 2018, while Affleck finalized his divorce from Jennifer Lopez in February.

Garner rounded out the holiday with a separate Instagram reel honoring her father, William John Garner. “Being fathered by someone who loves being a dad is a gift,” she wrote. “My sisters and I know this love and (lucky for us) all of our kids do, too.”

Garner added, “Happy Father’s Day to the Dads, no matter where you are. To the uncles and grandfathers and father figures, too. We love you ♥️”
