On Saturday, Katy Perry and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were seen kissing in photographs published by the Daily Mail. In the images, the rumored couple was aboard the singer’s yacht, the Caravelle, anchored near the coast of Santa Barbara, California.

In the photos, Perry appears to be in a black swimsuit, while Trudeau is shirtless and in long pants. Perry and Trudeau were first rumored to be seeing one another in July this year after being spotted at a restaurant in Montreal while Perry was on her Lifetimes world tour.

A source speaking to the U.K. outlet shared, “She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out. I didn’t realize who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau.”

Trudeau’s tattoo is a Haida raven, created by Haida artist Robert Davidson.

Another source told the publication that Perry is “very interested” in the political figure.

“Katy is very, very interested in him. She says he’s a real catch, a high-quality guy. She keeps a lot of details to herself, but she clearly still likes him a lot,” said the insider. “They just are so busy and in different cities, so they aren’t physically together. But if there’s anyone worth having a long-distance relationship with, it’s him. She likes him a lot. He likes her a lot. I’d even say they’re enamored.”
