Luxury hotel offering Elemis spa treatment with a free £101 beauty gift

For those in need of a spa escape that doesn’t break the bank, a luxurious staycation could be just the ticket. With Macdonald Hotels and Resorts, those in need of a bit of me-time can enjoy a fancy spa stay for less this summer.
The brand's new Timeless Summer Spa Day is available at 16 of its spa locations across the UK, so it’s possible to travel wide or stay close to home for that all-important relaxing break. Picture a charming hotel nestled in the most beautiful corners of the UK, jam-packed with everything needed to switch off, unwind, and recharge from busy lives filled with work, families, and the everyday stresses of modern life.
The day of self-care includes a luxurious 55-minute ELEMIS ‘Couture Touch’ Spa Treatment, which combines a bespoke facial with a deep-tissue massage. A full skin consultation is also included, along with expert skincare advice to help keep that glow going.

The spa experience doesn’t need to end when the day is done, either, as the special gift of the ELEMIS Refine and Rebalance Kit in a stylish wash bag, valued at £101, lets the rejuvenation and relaxation continue at home. The gift bag includes the ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF30, ELEMIS Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash & Facial Pads, and ELEMIS Ultra Smart Pro-Collagen Complex Serum, all wrapped up in a lovely wash bag travellers can use time and time again.
As mentioned, all 16 of Macdonald Hotels and Resorts’ spa locations are hosting the experience. Among them is the Bath Spa Hotel in Bath, a gorgeous historic location in a peaceful corner of Bath with landscaped gardens and 2AA Rosette food where travellers can soak up the vibes of the Roman spa town.
For those who want to escape into nature, there’s also the Forest Hills resort in the Trossachs National Park in Scotland. Surrounded by sparkling lochs, towering mountains and gorgeous scenery, it’s an ideal place to take a break from reality and enjoy all that Scotland has to offer.
While there are plenty more locations to choose from, Macdonald Hotels and Resorts isn’t the only brand offering spa services. For example, Center Parcs has its Aqua Sana Forest Spas, which offer nature-inspired spa experiences in the heart of the forest.

However, the Macdonald Hotels and Resorts have plenty of great reviews on TripAdvisor. One visitor to the Bath Spa Hotel wrote: “My massage was amazing... The spa facilities were great, as it was sunny we loved having lots of space in the outdoor lounge area. The pool temperature was HOT! So nice!”

Another Bath Spa visitor wrote: “The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, our rooms were bright, airy and very clean, the bed was also extremely comfy. The food was delicious and the staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so welcome. They were all exceptional. You can walk into the city centre from the hotel as well which is a bonus.”
Some people had a mixed experience, such as this Bath visitor who wrote: "After getting changed we went to the pool areas which were clean but inside did lack seating for everyone but luckily it was a sunny day so we sat outside. Both pools were clean and lovely, heated outdoor pool was a nice touch."
Someone who stayed at the Trossachs location wrote: “The spa was great. The massage was really good, Caroline was kneading bread with my muscles, amazing. The room was excellent, the bed very comfy and the service was great too. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.”
