Amelia Gray Serves Absolutely ‘Nothing’ as Vogue Arabia’s May 2025 Cover Girl

Vogue Arabia came back onto the market two months ago, and is now under the umbrella of Condé Nast’s newly established Middle East portfolio. The relaunch saw Imaan Hammam (and Achraf Hakimi) take to a duo of covers, while Yemeni-Emirati singer and actress Balqees took to last month’s covers. Up next on the cover of Vogue Arabia is Amelia Gray. The American beauty, whose star continues to rise within the world of fashion, takes to the May 2025 issue of Arabian Vogue. The industry favorite poses for photographer Zoey Grossman for the occasion, complete with Jessica Willis on styling duties. Across a twosome of covers, Amelia is captured on location in Malibu, California, and poses amongst the rugged wilderness dressed in looks designed by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent (teamed with Cartier jewelry).

“It’s giving nothing.” [prylvi]
“I find Amelia bland.” [oaklee91]
“She just doesn’t have the vernacular she thinks she possesses. In all seriousness, I don’t mind Amelia for some kinda of modeling but placing her in the middle of a natural landscape almost highlights how unnatural her face is.” [marsnoop2]
Forum member crmsn wasn’t exactly jumping for joy either. “This edition used to have such a strong identity. Now it just looks like Vogue Mexico. This is just sad,” they commented.
“The minute Condé Nast took back their license you could tell the covers became bland,” marsnoop2 echoed.
“The art direction is beyond amateur, and very… basic. Throw in Amelia Gray, and it’s all just a recipe for disaster. I don’t mind the photography, the location, or the styling but Amelia is legit serving zilch here,” voiced vogue28.
