Angèle Channels Claudia Schiffer as the Face of the Chanel Chance Eau Splendide Fragrance

Chanel is just like any other fashion house on the planet, and likes to make use of their brand ambassadors. The powers that be at the fabled French fashion house calls upon their ambassadors regularly, especially when producing its advertising campaigns. Names like Lupita Nyong’o and Margaret Qualley front the current Chanel Eyewear campaign, while Whitney Peak is the face of the Mademoiselle fragrance. Angèle, who signed on the dotted line with Chanel in 2020, is unveiled as the face of the Chanel Chance Eau Splendide fragrance and stars in the accompanying campaign. The Belgian singer-songwriter poses for Steven Meisel for the occasion, bringing a sense of youth, joy, and vitality as the floral fruity fragrance.

“It’s very fitting actually, for once. Angèle is perfect for Chance,” complemented Lola701 the moment the campaign stuck.
“The print campaign imagery works for me. It’s playful, joyful, and youthful. Angèle as the face of the Chanel Chance fragrance seems like the perfect fit, and the fact she’s serving Claudia Schiffer 90s Chanel suits me just fine,” chimed in vogue28.
Yet not everyone was so impressed. “Very juvenile,” Avonlea slated in disbelief.
“Wow, this is so old-looking. Like a cheap perfume campaign that you would find in the 90s in an Eastern European country or something,” shrieked Creative.
“Very sad to see so much commercial nothingness from such a celebrated and excellent photographer. It’s starting to tarnish the legacy at this point. This is not giving,” confessed aracic.
