The WWE legend died from acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, according to medical reports. The Pinellas County Forensic Science Center confirmed the cause, noting Hogan had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), an irregular heart rhythm.

Additionally, records revealed Hogan privately battled chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a type of blood cancer. His wife, Sky Daily, had previously dismissed health rumors, stating,

“His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage” .

First responders rushed to his Clearwater, Florida, home on July 24 after a cardiac arrest call. He was pronounced dead at Morton Plant Hospital shortly after.
