<em>The Terminal List: Dark Wolf</em> Season 2: Everything We Know (So Far)

In 2023, Prime Video had a problem to solve. The Terminal List helped the streamer fill in their non-Reacher seasons with another spy thriller, but Chris Pratt was looking at a busy schedule for the next two years. The actor lent his voice to Mario and Garfield, then finished up his obligations to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. So, how could the streamer give fans more Terminal List?

Well, a prequel, of course. Take a page out of the ol’ Taylor Sheridan playbook and fill the extra time needed to film season 2 with The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, a spin-off starring Taylor Kitsch—who reprises his role as Ben Edwards— and Tom Hopper as Lieutenant Raife Hastings. The story follows Edwards’s journey as a Navl SEAL and a CIA agent before his appearance (and betrayal) alongside Pratt's character in The Terminal List.

Now halfway through the prequel series, Prime Video is looking at a win-win. Fans aren’t just excited for The Terminal List season 2—they also want a second season of Dark Wolf. The prequel series premiered to even more favorable reviews than the original—falling just below The Summer I Turned Pretty’s final season on Prime Video’s current list of most-streamed shows.

The streamer has yet to official renew the series for season 2, but it sounds like Kitsch is already preparing himself for more. In an interview with Screen Rant, the actor teased where the story would head next with significant ideas regarding the next leg of his character’s journey.

“If you think this is dark, wait till season 2,” Kitsch said. “It’s not like a cliff-hanger, but it’s truly an emotional fall… It’s like Ben’s on his own in season 2 and you’re going to follow him through some of the worst parts of what humans are capable of doing. You’re going to see him emotionally attached to the work even more. That’s what I want to explore. So that’s where we’re going to go, to broad stroke it, but I definitely feel as an actor and to serve that guy, one more swing. I would love to f**king go one more."

Hopefully, Prime Video gives Kitsch one more ride as the Dark Wolf.
