Meghan Markle savaged by top US comedians in joke about As Ever brand

Top comedians and Saturday Night Live alumni took aim at Meghan Markle's Netflix show 'With Love, Meghan', while on stage for their tour in New Jersey. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took over Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City on June 1 and threw shade at many celebrities, including the Duchess of Sussex.

Amy said Meghan Markle, 43, was not in the crowd because she was too busy cooking, specifically baking cookies topped with edible flower petals. Speaking to her audience, she joked: "Meghan Markle is not here tonight. She's putting flower sprinkles on cookies, and Piers Morgan is furiously rage m********ing about it."

The pair also made jokes about the actors, Leonardo DiCaprio, Nicole Kidman, and Ben Affleck.

Continuing their celebrity roast, Tina also referenced the mother-of-two's fruit platter made in the shape of a rainbow, during her Netflix show.

She said: "So, if you're like making a Meghan Sussex fruit rainbow, just know that you're doing that for you. Okay? You're doing that to prove something to yourself and that's okay too."

Shortly after, The Daily Mail reports she shaded Meghan and Harry blurring their children's faces when sharing photos of Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with the public.

When highlighting the year 2008, Tina said that Amy gave birth to her son, and in the slideshow behind her, she showed a photo of Amy with her son with a blurred face - similar to the way Meghan and Harry blur photos of their children.

Meghan invited friends and guests onto her Netflix show including Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling and Alice Waters.

Sharing the trailer for the series, before it was released in March 2025, Meghan shared her excitement over the release, writing: "I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it... Beyond grateful for the support - and fun! As ever, Meghan."

Prince Harry was not included in the series, however, he did make a sweet cameo appearance in the final episode of the show.

After the show's launch, fans were informed a season two would be released in autumn 2025.
