The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to release within the next few days, and if gamers have been holding out on buying it, they might be in luck because some retailers still have stock. And one place in particular is offering gamers the chance to secure the new Switch 2 console alongside two popular titles (worth £140 together) for less than £500 in the run-up to the console's release (June 5).

The Switch 2 will be released on June 5 and will include an upgraded Switch console with a bigger screen, new games, and a whole new number of features. When the gadget first became available to pre-order, shoppers found it a bit of a struggle, but the good news is that gamers can still get their hands on it before the release-day rush. And you can save nearly £50 in the process.

Over at Very, gaming buffs can pre-order the Switch 2 console along with two iconic titles, ensuring you can dive straight into the new gaming experience without having to purchase the games separately.

The bundle includes the Switch 2 (£396), Mario Kart World (usually selling for £75 on its own) and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (£65 when bought individually). This three-piece set, which would normally cost £535, is available to pre-order ahead of the release date for £494.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will feature a custom Nvidia chipset, a 7.9-inch LCD display with 1080p resolution, the ability to output in 4K, as well as exclusive games that will be released on the console. The Switch 2 will also focus more on third-party games thanks to the upgraded custom chipset, which will allow games to be upscaled from a lower resolution, using DLSS.

Both game titles included in this bundle are updated versions of popular and cult-classic versions, but Mario Kart World and Thhe Legend of Zelda aren't the only games that have been remastered for the latest console. To find out more, click here.

If you're looking for other options, Nintendo is also accepting pre-orders for those with a Nintendo account. However, gamers should note that this retailer has a one-person purchase limit, so you can only buy one. If you prefer to shop at Amazon, unfortunately, the console has sold out, though it's worth keeping an eye out after the release date.

If you're in the market for a new games console, Sony has launched its Days of Play sale, offering discounts on PlayStation consoles, controllers, and games. The Dualsense Edge Wireless controller is available for £174.99, while the PS VR2 with Horizon: Call of the Mountain has been reduced from £399 to £354.99.
