Polish space technology supplier to receive first tranche of ESA funding

Creotech Instruments announced that the European Space Agency (ESA) has accepted the first part of the documentation as part of the initiated documentation review of the CAMILA satellite network construction project.
For this reason, the company is entitled to remuneration of EUR 3.17 million, with approximately 30% of this amount going directly to Creotech Instruments, and the remainder will cover remuneration for subcontractors.
In April 2025, the European Space Agency signed a contract with Creotech Instruments as the prime contractor for a system consisting of three observation satellites and a ground control system together with a space data processing center.
The agreement provides for the delivery of a fourth satellite and the in-orbit operation of the CAMILA constellation in subsequent years. The total project value is approximately €52 million, of which Creotech Instruments accounts for nearly €26 million.
The selected solution is based on over 90% of subsystems developed and implemented in Poland. Some of these have already been tested during a test space mission in 2024.
The entire project will be implemented from April 2025 to December 2027. According to the adopted assumption, financial settlements will take place in stages after the next phase of implementation is prepared.
The company's main shareholders are the Industrial Development Agency (9.50%) and TFI PZU (8.61%). Creotech Instruments has been listed on the stock exchange since July 2022.
