Two 'very embarrassed' Canberra Raiders NRL players have been disciplined over a altercation at their hotel in Las Vegas days out from the start of the 2025 season.
Second-rowers Hudson Young and Morgan Smithies came to blows after a hotel mix-up left one of them without a room on their first night.
It's understood an inflatable baseball bat were involved in the scuffle in a hotel elevator and that security guards removed them from the hotel, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Police were not called and the pair were later allowed to return to the hotel.
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart confirmed an altercation took place three days ago and slammed the players' behavior as unacceptable.
'I have spoken to the players who are very embarrassed,' he said.
