Chin suspended for start of Wexford SHC

The 2025 Wexford SHC throws in this weekend without Lee Chin who is serving a suspension carried over from last year.

The Wexford captain will miss Faythe Harriers' Group B opener against holders St Martin's on Friday evening after being red-carded in last October's narrow quarter-final loss to Naomh Éanna. St Martin's are favourites to retain the Dr RJ Bowe Cup after recently winning the League.

The 2025 Wexford SHC Round 1 fixtures are as follows:

Group A:

St. Anne’s Rathangan v Oylegate-Glenbrien Hollymount – Saturday, June 28 at 2pm

Naomh Éanna v Ferns St. Aidans Chadwicks Wexford Park – Saturday, June 28 at 6.15pm

Crossabeg/Ballymurn v Rathnure St. Anne’s McCauley Park Bellefield – Saturday, June 28 at 7.30pm

Group B:

St. Martin’s v Faythe Harriers McCauley Park Bellefield – Friday, June 27 at 8pm

Shelmaliers v Rapparees – Chadwicks Wexford Park – Friday, June 27 at 8pm

Oulart-The Ballagh v Glynn-Barntown Chadwicks Wexford Park – Saturday, June 28 at 8pm
