Erik ten Hag names the one thing he misses at Man Utd and it's not the players

Former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has spoken about how much he misses Old Trafford, some four months after he was sacked by the Premier League club.
Ten Hag won two domestic cups with United but was given his marching orders in October after a tough run of league results. The Red Devils slid to eighth last season after winning just four of their final 13 games, and won just three from nine this term before the Dutchman was dismissed.
The former Ajax boss was open in his criticism of certain players during his tenure, and has now argued his generation had thicker skin. That's not to say there weren't things he enjoyed about his time in charge, though.
In an interview in his native Netherlands, Ten Hag has reflected on his time at Old Trafford. And the famous stadium itself clearly left its mark.
"The club is so gigantic, worldwide," Ten Hag told SEG Stories (via the MEN). "The reach... Unprecedented and in everything, you know. The feeling is hard to describe, but before every match I always walked into an empty Old Trafford alone. That is such an iconic place. If I miss anything now, it is Old Trafford."
Ten Hag also showed appreciation for the United fanbase, saying: "I enjoyed it immensely. The fans... really fantastic. So committed, so dedicated, so loyal. To my team, to me, to my staff. We also gave them two prizes after a six-year drought. I was appreciated.
"I really noticed that when I walked the streets of Manchester. How? Hanging on, they gave you credit. They were so happy with the FA Cup last year... They gave that feeling of pride back."

Since sacking Ten Hag, United have been unable to permanently drag themselves up into the top half of the Premier League table. At the time of writing, they sit 15th under new boss Ruben Amorim - some 12 points off the top half and 16 outside the top four - and Amorim addressed his team's home struggles ahead of welcoming Ipswich Town to Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
“Yeah, since I arrived, when I took the job, I expect to win all the games at home and you have that feeling," Amorim told reporters. "I don’t feel the pressure, I don’t feel it. Like again, the supporters are amazing. I don’t feel it.
"Every time you go to one game at Old Trafford, you feel the support until the end. Sometimes, you have one play sometimes in one half and sometimes you feel like the supporters want this so bad, so I don’t feel the pressure and we have to stop thinking about the last games. It can be a new game, it can be a new story, so let’s go forward and play the game.”
