Footy great Corey Parker sells his house for almost $3million - and leaves a very special surprise for the fan who lodged the winning bid

Footy legend Corey Parker has moved from the disappointment of losing his job at Fox League after selling his Brisbane home for almost $3million.
Parker, 42, and his wife Margaux, a radio personality, flipped their luxury house in Daisy Hill after purchasing the 2,870 square metre property for $2.05million in May of 2023.
And the Broncos great thrilled the buyer - a footy fan - by agreeing to leave behind some memorabilia from his playing days in order to sweeten the deal.
Marketing agent Nathan Strudwick, of Elders Real Estate Shailer Park, said the renovation was 'timeless'.
'The feedback from buyers was that Corey and Margaux had done an amazing job,' he told realestate.com.au
'It was indulgent in all the right areas, but to its core was a lovely family home.'

The lavish home features five bedrooms and four bathrooms, along with a pool house, which doubled as Parker's 'man cave.'
Other features included multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, and a stylish kitchen with a large island bench and SMEG appliances.
The property can also accommodate up to six vehicles, has an in-ground swimming pool and bar with room for a pool table.
The master suite included a huge walk-in wardrobe - and when they entertained guests, the Parkers had two purpose-built barbecue areas and a pizza oven.
It is expected the Parkers - who have four children - will continue to reside in the area.
It follows Parker being let go by Fox Sports after nine years leading into Christmas, in a decision he labelled 'disappointing.'

'I loved my role there. I know I was hard-working, well-prepared, honest and transparent,' he said at the time.
Parker was quickly replaced by former Broncos coach Kevin Walters - but wasn't out of work long.
He is now on the airwaves at SENQ Radio in Brisbane, where Parker co-hosts the breakfast show with Australian cricket legend Ian Healy.
And in a added twist, Parker competes for listeners directly against his wife Margaux, who co-hosts the Triple M morning program alongside Greg Martin and Dan Anstey.
