Furious Chelsea fans protest against Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital - 'We're not Arsenal'

Chelsea fans protested against owner Todd Boehly outside Stamford Bridge before their game against Southampton on Tuesday amid fury over the American's running of the club.
The Blues have suffered a difficult spell since the billionaire bought the club from previous owner Roman Abramovich in 2022, with the Blues performing poorly in the Premier League and being without Champions League football for two seasons.
Boehly has also overseen an incredible spending spree of more than £1billion on almost 40 signings, with many of them proving to be huge transfer misfires - including the £85m deal for winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
Under Boehly, Chelsea are on their fourth permanent manager in Enzo Maresca - not including interim bosses Bruno Saltor and Frank Lampard - with Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Mauricio Pochettino all being sacked.
Things looked to have slightly improved under Maresca this season after Chelsea emerged as title contenders in December, but a string of poor form has seen them fall to fifth in the table and left in danger of missing out on the top four.
Furious supporters have now decided to vent their anger at Boehly ahead of their Premier League clash against the Saints on Tuesday night, as a horde of fans appeared outside the Bridge holding up banners.
Boehly and his company BlueCo were urged to leave as fans wrote that the American and shareholders Clearlake Capital were "wanted for crimes against Chelsea".
Another sign held aloft by a fan read: "We're not Arsenal. Win or f*** off," while a third said: "BlueCo, stop killing Chelsea. Get out of our club."
One fan was seen throwing money in the air as he stood in front of a poster showing Boehly holding some cash. Next to it were the words: "Thanks Chelsea fans for making me richer."
The protests continued as fans marched up Fulham Road with their signs, with another reading: "BlueCo, Clearlake, you're destroying our club," as they chanted "Bohely, you're a c***" and "BlueCo out".
Fans also criticised Boehly over his investment in website Vivid Seats, which sells Premier League matches to foreign tourists, as they chanted "f*** Vivid Seats".
