Joe Brolly Explains Why He Is Certain Who Will Win Final Between Kerry & Donegal

Looking at the upcoming All-Ireland final between Kerry and Donegal, it is difficult to separate the two teams in terms of judging who is most likely to win the game.
This pair are certainly the two best sides in the country at the moment, having played some magnificent football during this year's championship.
Kerry have rebounded from their shock defeat to Meath with two top class performances against Armagh and Tyrone. As for Donegal, they have arguably been the most consistent side in the sport in 2025 and look to only be getting stronger as the year progresses.

Joe Brolly Seems Certain Who Will Win Between Kerry & DonegalWhile many will find it tough to confidently predict the winner of this year's final, others are more certain about the outcome.
Speaking on the Free State podcast, Joe Brolly admitted that he found it incredibly difficult to see Kerry winning this game due to the relentless nature of Donegal's approach under Jim McGuinness.
"I don't see any flaws and I don't see how they can be beaten... the only possibility is that David Clifford would do something extraordinary, which he's well capable of, but it would have to be would have to be even by his standards..."

[McGuinness] was the first manager to exploit the new rules, to fully appreciate that they're all about scoring rate.
This all new Donegal 2025 model is multipurpose. I don't see any flaws and I don't see how they could be beat.
The only possibility is that David Clifford would do something extraordinary, which he is well capable of. But it would have to be, even by his standard. I don't think the 1-9 he scored against Tyrone would be sufficient for example...
The way Jimmy works is that he looks at the rules and then he puts together the most efficient way to exploit those rules. How can we get the most out of every part of these rules to win an All-Ireland?..
They've created an attacking plan that is the most optimal possible plan for scoring. It's like basketball on a bigger court.
Donegal certainly look incredibly difficult for opposing defences to stop, although Kerry are not short on firepower in forward areas either. Jack O'Connor's side are capable of racking up massive scores, as we have seen in their last three outings against Ulster opposition in the form of Cavan, Armagh, and Tyrone.
Jim McGuinness will be confident that his side can get the job done, but you get the sense that this final will be a bit harder to call than Joe Brolly is giving it credit for.
