Moise Kean rushed to hospital as ex-Everton star worryingly collapses on pitch

Moise Kean was rushed to hospital after collapsing during Fiorentina's clash with Verona in Serie A.
The former Everton forward, 24, fell to the ground moments after colliding with Verona duo Pawel Dawidowicz and Diego Coppola. The Italy international was struck in the head as Dawidowicz's knee appeared to hit the head of Kean, as the La Viola ace tangled for the ball.
Following the initial incident, Kean hit the floor before heading off the field to receive treatment. The ex-Paris Saint-Germain loanee suffered a gash above his eye but was deemed well enough to return to the field.
Bandaged up, Kean returned to play but then fell to the floor and in distressing scenes was seen unmoving as players from both teams called for assistance. The striker quickly received attention, as players called for help, and appeared to receive oxygen and was in a neck brace, before being place in the back of an ambulance.
The Fiorentina star looked to be conscious on his departure. Keane is to undergo tests in hostpital, the club confirmed in a statement.
It read: "ACF Fiorentina announces that the footballer Moise Kean, during the match against Verona, suffered a head trauma. The footballer is in hospital for tests."
Recovering Fiorentina star Edoardo Bove was in the stands as his side fell to defeat, months on from undergoing his own collapse on the pitch. The 22-year-old was rushed to hospital in December after collapsing on the field against Inter Milan before being placed into intensive care.
The youngster was fitted with an implanted defibrillator after suffering a cardiac arrest. Serie A rules prevent players from competing with an implanted defibrillator however, leaving an issue for the midfielder on loan from Roma.
