Snooker scores LIVE: Ronnie O’Sullivan could still withdraw today as three big names out

The 2025 World Snooker Championship is now well and truly underway, and the defending champion is already out. The 'Crucible curse' struck again on the weekend, with Kyren Wilson left stunned by Lei Peifan as the debutant came from 6-2 down to prevail 10-9.
However, three-time winner Mark Williams delighted fans by beating China's up-and-coming star Wu Yize 10-8. On Monday, all eyes will be on the favourite Judd Trump, who gets his campaign underway against Yuelong Zhou.
Also, anticipation is building for Ronnie O'Sullivan's return to snooker. After being out of the game since January, 'The Rocket' will take on Ali Carter in a grudge match on Tuesday - provided he does not withdraw before then.

2024 champion Kyren Wilson isn't the only big name already out.
Barry Hawkins went down 10-9 to Iranian showman Hossein Vafaei last night, while 2010 winner Neil Robertson was beaten 10-8 by Chris Wakelin.
We are only on day three of the tournament but the draw has already opened up.
Fans remain doubtful over whether seven-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan will be at the Crucible tomorrow.
The 49-year-old is due to end his self-enforced break from snooker against Ali Carter. However, last week he said: "I’m not playing until Tuesday. So if I have a meltdown, who knows?
"I might still bloody withdraw. I hope I don’t. I’m surprised I’m here but I’m here. I don’t have any expectations."
