These Are Our Favourite Halloween 2025 Sporting Costumes

Halloween has come and gone, and the nation's youth are slowly emerging this morning from a chocolate-induced sweets coma.

Samhain celebrations were extended across two weekends this year and the standard of costumes continue to be lifted every year in Ireland.

2025 brought us plenty of Catherine Connolly and Heather Humphries, plenty of DJ Carey's and a number of memorable classic GAA efforts.

Here's some of our favourite sporting Halloween costumes for 2025.

The girls even lipsynced to the famous Peter Canavan All-Ireland speech from 2003.

"It's normal at this time to slate the media. I’m not going to be any different. They compared Tyrone to the British Army - once we crossed the border we had no power. I think we’ve a bit of power now."

Speaking of fin de siècle GAA legends, GracieGirl0212 on tiktok did sterling work with young Jim McGuinness - complete with a moustache and afro.

Respect to youtuber Ellis Patten who shared this recreation of a giant lollypop-sucking Wayne Rooney on a walk with his then-girlfriend Colleen way back in 2003.
