Joel Kerr has been named in Tyrone’s starting line-up for this afternoon’s All-Ireland minor football championship final against Kerry in Newbridge.

Reports this week leading up to the decider were that the Rock St Patrick's clubman would not be able to line-out for the Ulster champions after having signed a three-year contract with Premier League outfit West Ham United which commenced on July 1st.

Red Hands boss Gerard Donnelly and his backroom team looked set to be plotting against the Kingdom without their ace attacker, however Tyrone GAA confirmed his availability this morning with the release of their starting 15 on social media which sees Kerr named at number 13.

Throw-in for this afternoon’s game at Cedral St Conleth’s Park is at 1.30pm and the game will be shown live on TG4.
