Airbnb’s Brian Chesky Is ‘Not Happy’ With the Company’s Growth. Here’s His Plan

Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said the company needs to diversify its business model to boost its bottom line.
“I'm not happy about where the growth rate is in the company,” Chesky said at the Skift Global Forum in New York on Tuesday. “I think the company should be growing significantly faster. It should at least be growing in the teens.”
Chesky added he eventually wanted growth to exceed 20%. For the third quarter, growth is expected in the 8% to 10% range.
However, Chesky said he believed Airbnb would “accelerate” next year with a slate of new initiatives, which include a marketplace for booking experiences and services, adding hotels to the platfo
