Inter have confirmed the signing of Polish midfielder Nicola Zalewski from Roma, after the Nerazzurri exercised their €6.5 million option-to-buy in the player’s loan contract.
Zalewski, who spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan with Inter, featured in 17 games in all competitions since his transfer on February 1.

Inter confirmed the transfer this evening on their official website, with the player already present in the Serie A side’s Club World Cup squad.
A fine season for ZalewskiThe Polish international made an instant impact for the Nerazzurri, winning fans over immediately after assisting Stefan de Vrij’s stoppage-time equaliser in the Milan derby the day after he signed for the club.

Zalewski scored his first and only goal for the club in May when the side defeated Torino 2-0. He was a substitute in the Champions League final, coming on for the last half an hour as Inter were thrashed 5-0 by Ligue 1 side PSG.
