Elk belangrijk moment van de Victoria's Secret Fashion Show van 2025
Gisteravond keerde de Victoria's Secret Fashion Show terug met een explosie van glitter, glamour en een heleboel plezier. Diep in de Brooklyn Navy Yard vond het evenement vol sterren plaats, vol verrassingen en momenten op en naast de catwalk.

Jasmine Tookes opende de show met haar babybuik gedrapeerd in glinsterende gouden kristallen en oceanische parelvleugels. Direct daarna dook de show in kleurrijke secties geïnspireerd op het leven van een vrouw van dag tot nacht - plus de iconische geuren van Victoria's Secret door de jaren heen. Gedurende de vergulde First Light, felroze Bombshell, verleidelijke Hot Pursuit, zonsondergangwaardige Magic Hour en zwart-witte Black Tie secties was de avond gevuld met all-star momenten van Gigi Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Irina Shayk, Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, Barbara Palvin, Joan Smalls, Abby Champion, Anok Yai, Precious Lee, Ashley Graham, Alex Consani, Adut Akech, Grace Elizabeth, Lila Moss, Devyn Garcia, Emily Ratajkowski, Liu Wen, Imaan Hammam, Doutzen Kroes, Paloma Elsesser, Lily Aldridge, Awar Odhiang en vele andere stermodellen. Speciale cameo's van beroemdheden waren er ook, zoals Angel Reese, Quenlin Blackwell, Barbie Ferreira en Suni Lee. De show bevatte de terugkeer van PINK's wedstrijdklare catwalk-"rust"-sectie, plus gedurfde muzikale optredens van Madison Beer, de K-popgroep TWICE en Karol G.

Het catwalkspektakel werd afgesloten met een spetterend optreden van Missy Elliott. Met nummers als "Lose Control", "Get Ur Freak On" en "Work It" kreeg de muzikant alle gasten – waaronder Sarah Jessica Parker, Law Roach, Patrick Schwarzenegger en Chloë Sevigny – van hun stoel, voordat alle modellen en artiesten samen optraden in de met confetti gevulde finale van de show.

Met betoverende kostuums en vleugelontwerpen geïnspireerd op pioenrozen, orchideeën, rozen, maskerades en vuurwerk, plus talloze kristallen, maliënkolder en parels, was er zeker genoeg dynamische glamour te zien - allemaal met aandacht en passie gemaakt door de nieuwe ster creatief directeur Adam Selman .
"Het leven voelt nu zo direct en rauw voor me, maar toch zo kristalhelder", schreef Selman in zijn roze shownotes. "Deze show is groots. De emoties eromheen – groots, het publiek – groots, de verwachtingen – groots. Het herinnert me aan de kracht van Victoria's Secret.
