Operatie tegen 8 criminele organisaties: 74 arrestaties

Minister van Binnenlandse Zaken Ali Yerlikaya maakte bekend dat er 74 verdachten zijn aangehouden bij operaties in 6 provincies tegen 8 afzonderlijke georganiseerde misdaadbendes.

Minister Yerlikaya deelde een bericht op zijn sociale media-account, waarin hij zei: "Tijdens onze operaties die we vorige week uitvoerden in 6 provincies, gecentreerd rond 8 afzonderlijke georganiseerde misdaadorganisaties onder leiding van Ş.K. in Istanbul, F.Ö. in Balıkesir, YK in Antalya, EY in Tekirdağ, NG en EK in Kırklareli, FYK en AA in Bursa; 74 verdachten die lid zijn van de georganiseerde misdaadorganisatie, inclusief de leiders, werden gepakt. 43 van de verdachten werden gearresteerd en er werden rechterlijke controlebeslissingen uitgevaardigd voor 20. De procedures voor de anderen zijn nog steeds gaande. Om ervoor te zorgen dat geen enkele misdaad of crimineel ongestraft blijft, zetten we onze operaties ononderbroken voort in elke fase van onze strijd tegen georganiseerde misdaadorganisaties om de criminelen te vangen en voor de rechter te brengen."

Minister Yerlikaya, who provided information about the crimes for which investigations were launched against the suspects and what was seized, said, "As a result of the work carried out by the Provincial Police Departments' KOM Branch Directorates under the coordination of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security's KOM Presidency, the suspects who were members of an organized crime organization were caught in operations organized in Istanbul, Kırklareli, Bursa, Balıkesir, Antalya and Tekirdağ. Our prosecutor's offices launched an investigation into the crimes of establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime, qualified robbery, attempted deliberate murder, deliberate wounding, armed threat, damaging property, collecting checks and promissory notes, usury, deprivation of liberty, drug trafficking, human trafficking, arms trafficking and deliberately endangering general security. As a result of the operations, 20 unlicensed pistols, 5 unlicensed rifles, 2 blank pistols, numerous cutting and piercing tools and checks and promissory notes were seized. I congratulate our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices who coordinated the operations and our heroic police officers who carried out the operations."
