Once again, the Israeli Air Force is unable to intercept all of the missiles attacking Iran. Impacts are reported in several cities, including Jerusalem. There are also injuries.
According to Israeli sources, Iran launched a new rocket attack on Israel on Monday morning. "Rockets fired by Iran into the territory of the State of Israel have recently been identified," the army announced on Telegram. Air defenses are in operation, but Israelis are urged to seek shelter "and remain there until further notice."
Loud explosions were heard in Jerusalem, where air defenses were active, as well as in Tel Aviv. A reporter in Haifa, northern Israel, saw several fires break out following the recent rocket attacks. A plume of smoke rose over the city.
Iranian state media also confirmed that Israel's third-largest city was hit in the latest attack. The British security company Ambrey reported that fires were observed at a power plant near the port in Haifa. Ambrey observed video footage of the Israeli military intercepting the attack, followed by the impact of two hypersonic missiles.
Israel launched a major attack on Iran on Friday. Since then, the Israeli army has bombed nuclear and military facilities in the country, killing numerous high-ranking military officers. In response, Iran has since launched drone and missile attacks against Israel. Numerous people have been killed on both sides.
