Covestro buyer Adnoc on the verge of another billion-dollar deal

Adnoc subsidiary XRG has now stated that it is striving for a "leading position" in the gas and LNG market. The United Arab Emirates is the world's seventh-largest oil producer and ranks 15th in LNG. XRG stated that the company will ensure that Santos continues to invest in projects for CO₂ storage, the development of more climate-friendly fuels, and "other initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions."
