Managers: Deloitte survey shows lack of time among middle managers

Many middle managers feel abandoned by their companies. Thirty-six percent of respondents stated they were not adequately prepared to assume personnel responsibilities. Just as many believe their company lacks sufficient technical solutions to support them in their tasks.
The study's authors draw a clear conclusion: "Managers need support and development opportunities " – especially younger managers who were promoted based on their individual achievements. They, in particular, still need to develop the most important skill of modern leaders: judgment. © HBm 2025
