Jeff Bezos' wife Lauren: She publishes first picture in her wedding dress

Jeff Bezos' wife has posted her first photo as Lauren Sánchez Bezos - it's an impressive wedding photo.
The lavish wedding celebration of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (61) and his sweetheart Lauren Sánchez (55) in Venice reached its climax on June 27. In front of a gathering of world celebrities, the couple exchanged vows on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore on Friday evening. Just a short time later, the proud bride posted a wedding photo on Instagram – already under the name Lauren Sánchez Bezos.
The newlyweds are pictured beaming with joy as the guests applaud them. She simply posted the wedding date: June 27, 2025. Her wedding dress is a Dolce & Gabbana gown with a corset waist, turtleneck collar, and buttons from the neck down to the floor, culminating in a mermaid-style skirt. She paired it with Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria Miracolo earrings featuring four diamonds cut from a single stone and set in white gold.
That was her inspirationAlmost simultaneously with the wedding , Vogue published a cover story in which the bride discussed her inspiration for the dress. She said she wanted to go for a look similar to Sophia Loren's in the 1958 film "Houseboat," in which she married Cary Grant.
"I was researching pictures of brides from the 1950s. I saw Sophia Loren with her hands in prayer position and her high lace dress up to her neck. I thought, 'That's it. That's the dress.'" It may represent "a departure from what people expect," she speculated in the cover story. "But it represents me completely."
The couple had originally planned to hold their wedding ceremony on Saturday, June 28, at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia. However, due to security concerns related to ongoing local protests surrounding the wedding, the venue was changed at short notice.
According to Page Six, the couple's three-day wedding weekend, organized by George and Amal Clooney's wedding planners, cost an estimated $50 million.
