Why you should never recycle your old pitch deck

Why you should never recycle your old pitch deck

Most founders start each new funding round like this: take the old deck, add the latest content, and you're done. While this sounds somewhat logical, it's unfortunately a big problem.

Why? Because not only have your product and your KPIs evolved, but so has your entire company—and thus what you're "selling" to investors.

So if the story and its structure remain the same in the deck, you'll have many of the latest elements, but no longer a consistent, compelling narrative. Unfortunately, investors will immediately sense this disconnect.
