Singer Kelsea Ballerini gained her first experience as an actress with a guest appearance in a medical series.

Country singer Kelsea Ballerini wanted to star in the hit series "The White Lotus" – but was rejected. "I auditioned for the role of Jennifer Coolidge's assistant for the second season of "The White Lotus," the 31-year-old told People. However, actress Haley Lu Richardson landed the role.
For Ballerini, however, the rejection was not a problem: "I'm not ashamed." At the same time, she praised Richardson for playing the role "so brilliantly and beautifully."
Acting is a new field for the Grammy-nominated singer. She made her debut in an episode of the series "Doctor Odyssey" last year. The 31-year-old told Women's Health magazine that acting was one of those things "where I thought to myself: Run toward the things that scare you." And if that doesn't work out, "I'll put on my glitter and go back on stage. It will always be my home."
