Trump accepts Boeing from Qatar

The US President's current plane is already showing its age and should have been replaced long ago. However, changes in requirements and delays at the manufacturer Boeing caused a massive delay in the planned delivery.

"The Department of Defense has accepted a Boeing 747 from Qatar in compliance with all federal rules and regulations," the paper quoted Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell as saying. "The Department of Defense will work to ensure appropriate security measures and functional requirements are addressed for an aircraft used to transport the President of the United States."
