Agreement probably reached: Wirtz's move from Leverkusen to Liverpool is imminent
Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement, according to consistent media reports: Florian Wirtz will move to England - and ensure a transfer of this magnitude that has never been seen before either on the island or in Germany.

In recent days, Bayer 04 and Liverpool FC have been growing closer , and Florian Wirtz 's transfer is in the final stages. Now, however, conflicting reports have emerged regarding the status of the negotiations.
Fabrizio Romano and Sky reported late Tuesday evening that both clubs had made a breakthrough in their negotiations on the transfer fee for the German international and reached an agreement in principle.

This deal will surpass both the 2017 transfer of Ousmane Dembelé from Borussia Dortmund to FC Barcelona (for a fixed fee of €105 million) as the most expensive transfer in the Bundesliga, and the transfer of Enzo Fernandez five years later from Benfica Lisbon to FC Chelsea (for €121 million) as the most expensive purchase in the Premier League.
